The Donkeys

We kind of started it all when a couple of us came to SLF in 2017. The folks at SLF don't know much about our early years for the most part; some of us seem to have had a rough go of it, but we're all doing great now. Two of us are standard donkeys; three of us are mini donkeys:
just as much personality in smaller bodies.

Our role here is to eat, be happy, and produce lots of the raw material for the great compost at SLF.

Minerva (AKA Minnie)

I'm a Sicilian minidonk in my mid 20s, and one of the ODs (Original Donks of SLF). I'm an escape artist, I love to eat, and whew! do I have pipes when I want something.  I'm a rascal, but no one can stay mad at me for more than a nanosecond.

Ivy

I'm a standard donkey in my  20s. I'm the shyest (and biggest) of the bunch. All donkeys have great ears, but mine are in a class all their own: extra long with extraordinary rotation.

Hope

I'm Ivy's daughter, and I'm in my early 20s. I'm the most emotionally astute and sensitive donkey at SLF, and I'm your go-to-gal if you're having a tough day. I don't really like sharing attention. Who does?

Tillie

My kiddo Oscar and I came to SLF in 2022, and we're settling in nicely. I'm a minidonk in my early 20s, a natural redhead, extremely sweet and friendly, and I can match Minnie honk-for-honk when I want attention or am hungry. And who isn't always hungry?

Oscar

I'm the gentleman of the bunch. Actually, I'm a complete ham and a total sweetheart. A youthful 12 years old, I could be easily confused with velcro because I'll stick to you. I'm also incredibly attached to my mom, Tillie.
